They were probably mad for a long time before 1/6. My reaction to listening to Trump supporters is that they almost always seem angry. Maybe if we’d learned how to talk to them and make them feel heard earlier, events would have played out differently. Instead, we argue and don’t get anywhere. Facts don’t seem to help. We need a new way.
