Listening for values
I’m on vacation, but while I am gone, I want to steer you to values inventory that I just heard about. When I learned about listening, I learned that there are three levels of listening: content, emotion and values. We often focus on content and think we are done. I just wrote about listening for emotions. This new system of values is exciting to me, it sounds like it might help us get at some of the reasons for our conflicts in relationships.
